In today's news Adrian Peterson, NFL star of the Minnesota Vikings has received a grand jury indictment on a felony charge of injury to a child.
Essentially, what this amounts to is using a "switch" to discipline his child. Some parents use a belt, extension cords or other means to correct their children's behavior.
Have we as a society crossed the line? How far should parents be allowed to go, to ensure "our child" behaves? Many parents use the "time-out" method. Is this method effective?
Given the fact you can now face jail time for "whooping" your children, how are we to proceed?
